On the technology side, the big news is Kehin battery-less fuel injection system. This is the same basic system used last year KX450F but with different calibration; high rpm nature of 250F requires 20 percent less fuel than 450 do not flow! ECU is not limited with software adapted from Kawasaki, but the bike came stock with a six-set fuel and ignition map to allow the rider to adjust the powerband to like them.

Kehin EFI systems rely on input from gear position sensor, an air pressure sensor, water temperature sensors and air pressure sensor to optimize air / fuel ratio. This system also includes a 'vehicle down' sensors, designed to shut down the engine if you crash. Kawasaki goal is to improve throttle response and smooth out powerband without losing power over carbureted models, which were; machine makes a little more mid to top-end power than the 2010 model.

Along with fuel injection and engine camshafts and valve springs new features, new pistons, new cylinder, new crankshaft, revised gear ratios and a new mechanism for easier gear shifting. Intake air volume and length headpipe enhanced to improve low-rpm response, and quiet the new muffler is designed to meet the 94 dBA.

The Split Function Fork (SFF) system adjustable preload, compression and rebound well for. Benefits include 1.5-pound weight reduction, less stiction, and serve less expensive than conventional motocross fork.

Offset of new tripleclamps has been reduced to 22.5 mm to give the bike a lighter feel and improve handling front-wheel traction. Also got a rear shock treatment slick Kashima, along with the new settings to better fit the new fork on the front. This sounds strange, but the engines of vehicles has changed from aluminum to steel rigid and more flexible. Kawasaki factory rider this claim resulted in lighter handling, better cornering and maneuver better overall. This saddle has a new cover with handle side increased, and to sell the 232.7-pound bike MSRP $ 7299.

Engine-wise, 2011 has a slightly more powerful force than the 2010 model as a whole. Revver, but it makes a lot of torque at all points of the powerband. Throttle response is instantaneous and perfect, even for very humid days we go up 97-degrees. No matter how hard you hit the bike never hiccups or obstacles arise, such as carburetor bike prone to do. This new transmission also shifts both under power and revised clutch feels great and has a light pull. In the rare case the bike falls under the powerband a little tickle of the clutch lever is enough to get it to sing again. So our initial concerns about a big hurt refueling make the model 2010 has been buried!
